I can’t believe I’ve never read Dune — after watching the fantastic movie tho, I had to pick up the novel. And what can I say: it’s everything I wanted and more. Even tho it’s 50+ years old, it feels timeless and modern, hard to grasp that Frank Herbert could include so many innovative topics, philosophy, worldbuilding and write it beautifully. Truly worth picking up. And having seen the movie first helps you easy into the complicated world as well.
